ZAP (OTCBB: ZAAP) has unveiled its mobile R03 Micro Lithium Backup Charger. The R03 charger has a USB port and three other connectors, making it compatible with 80 percent of the mobile phone market, a company news release states. This includes the iPhone, Motorola, Samsung, Nokia and LG phones.
The R03 is small enough to fit into a pant’s pockets or a purse and sells for about $19.99. Technical specifications include such features as 1050 MHA lithium with a USB output of 5 volts.
“[I]f you run out of power it could literally mean you are out of business.,” say ZAP CEO Steve Schneider. “I’ve used Recharge-It-All on business trips and never have to worry about running out of power.”
ZAP says its Recharge-It-All device is the only platform that isn’t wedded to one particular company. “Recharge-It-All combines advanced battery storage with smart charge controller technology,” a ZAP news release states, “that can sense and adapt to a range of different voltages required by your favorite electronic devices.”
ZAP manufacturers a broad line of electric vehicles, with the ZAP Alias planned as the next up-to-date vehicle to come off the production line.
