Voyager Oil & Gas, Inc. (VYOG) Reports Successful Well in Colorado

Voyager Oil & Gas, Inc. reported the success of a recently completed oil well on the company’s properties in Colorado. The company also disclosed updated details on its oil and gas development program.

Voyager Oil & Gas, Inc. said that the Moonshine #1-36H well produced at a peak 24 hour rate of 650 barrels of oil per day, and is now producing 480 barrels of oil per day with only a 5% water content. The well is located in Weld County, Colorado

Voyager Oil & Gas, Inc. said the Outlaw #16-11-66H well is scheduled to undergo hydraulic fracturing operations in late November 2010. Management expects a similar production profile for this well.

Voyager Oil & Gas, Inc. reported that Slawson Exploration has finished building enough drilling pads to permit the drilling of twenty two wells. The companies have set production casing on the pads and estimates that the cost to drill and complete each well is approximately $3.2 million.

Voyager Oil & Gas, Inc. has a 50% interest in a 44,000 net acre position in the Denver Julesburg basin, and is in a joint venture with Slawson Exploration. The acreage is prospective for the Niobrara Shale, an emerging shale oil play that underlies parts of Colorado and Wyoming.
