TM Media announced that they are continuing to move forward with the filling process for a U.S. Patent per specific e-Commerce processes for online Role-Playing Games. Filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the patent application includes 20 specific claims for methods of using actual currency in Online role-playing games. The company recently responded to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office action on Patent fling 10/907,212 addressing specific features and options unique to the role-playing platform.
TM Media Group’s methodology describes how the application may allow end users to use and wager cash within the online role-playing games and without disrupting game play. The platform will provide allow end users with a game account to be able to accept deposits, enabling a player to make purchases that will then allow them to build their character through purchased features. Depending on the game system, an end user’s game account may be funded with real money by online banking or credit card.
