Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. (NWK) Subsidiary to Exhibit at Tactical C4 Conference from April 19-21

Today, NET Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Equipment Technologies, Inc., announced that it will be presenting at the Tactical C4 Conference and Exhibition at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, GA on April 19-21, in booth 218b. The conference is a forum for building solutions on key issues for the Army tactical signal community.

NET Federal’s booth will feature a live demonstration of the company’s VX Series secure VoIP gateway. The VX Series interoperates with legacy PBXs and next generation IP-based voice platforms. It is optimized for government use and provides advanced MLPP, SCIP relay, and border control features that are in line with the new AS-SIP (UCR) definition. The VX Series also provides advanced frame packing and elastic buffering for unmatched bandwidth savings.

In addition to the VX Series’ benefits already named, the solution also offers a robust implementation of V.150 Universal Modem Relay that communicates between new secure IP phones, such as the Sectéra® vIPer™ Universal Secure Phone from General Dynamics C4 Systems, and other secure analog communications devices. NET and General Dynamics C4 Systems will demonstrate this capability as a Sectéra vIPer phone in the General Dynamics C4 Systems booth (booth 415) communicates with a SCIP-based Sectéra Wireline Terminal (SWT) in the NET booth using V.150 Universal Modem Relay.

General Dynamics has more than 295,000 encryption devices worldwide and has delivered information security technology, products and systems to the U.S. government and military for over 40 years. More information about General Dynamics C4 Systems’ products is available at www.gdc4s.com/products.
