NetSol Technologies, Inc., a multinational provider of global business services and enterprise solutions to the financial service industry, announced that its APAC division will partake in an IT Apprenticeship Program started by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).

PSEB will cover the cost of two hundred IT apprentices for a period of 12 months under the new program as well as apprentices being engaged in a rigorous combination of classroom and hands-on learning opportunities. The students will then graduate towards serving as resources for NetSol teams working on live revenue generating projects. Educating in the NetSol environment will give young students the opportunity to gain knowledge from experienced world class IT professionals.

Najeeb Ghauri, Chairman and CEO of NetSol Technologies said, “Recognizing the leadership role of NetSol in the IT industry of Pakistan, PSEB is sponsoring the funding and facilitating these two hundred apprentices in order to develop the requisite capacity in the industry. This initiative provides a tremendous boost to NetSol with regard to sourcing some of the best emerging IT talent in Pakistan. In addition, we will have the necessary capacity and capability to offer NetSol’s basket of ‘BestShoring’ IT Services in the North American and European markets.”

NetSol’s apprentice program will focus on providing students with key technical and leadership skills by enabling them to effectively contribute to Pakistan’s growing IT industry in the coming years ahead.
