MTC Technologies, Inc (MTCT) Awarded $4.1 Million to Perform International C-130 Aircraft Maintenance

MTC Technologies, Inc (MTCT), an industry-recognized provider of aircraft modernization, announced that the company has been awarded a contract that is potentially worth $4.1 million. This contract specifies that MTC will perform various maintenance tasks on a Philippine Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft.

As the prime contractor, MTC will manage the work and provide technical and engineering support from their Aerospace Integration Division office in Warner Robins, Georgia. Furthermore, replacement and overhauled parts will be supplied by Kellstrom Industries of Miramar, Florida. Asian Aerospace Corporation, located at Clark International Airport, Republic Of The Philippines, will perform the hands-on aircraft maintenance.

“MTC is honored to be selected by the U.S. Air Force C-130 Technical Coordination Group to provide this important depot-level maintenance service. Completing this programmed depot maintenance activity and returning the aircraft to operational service will contribute significantly to the Philippine Air Force’s airlift capability. We intend to provide the best possible maintenance services in the shortest possible time,” said David Mitchell, MTC Executive Vice President and Director of the MTC Modernization and Sustainment Group. “We are delighted to be teamed with innovative companies like Asian Aerospace Corporation and our longtime partner, Kellstrom Industries, and we are excited about the possibilities of extending this partnership to other overseas operators of the C-130 Hercules.”
