Lighting Science Group Corporation and the Office for Visual Interaction, Inc. are collaborating on a project. The New York City Department of Design and Construction chose the companies to perform engineering, produce, and test the winning design of the City Lights Design Competition. This international competition is to select a new streetlight design for New York City.

Office for Visual Interaction was selected for its LED-based streetlight design and has partnered with Lighting Science Group to engineer, produce, and test prototypes of their winning design of the LED-based streetlights. The goal of the competition is to provide a model for widespread lighting of streets, sidewalks, and parks in New York City’s five boroughs. Lighting Science Group Corporation continues to provide their lighting solutions to serve their customers. They are constantly innovating to light the way to future shareholder profits.
