High Ridge Resources Inc. (HRR.V / HR2.F) Begins Drilling in Peru

High Ridge Resources Inc. (TSX-V: HRR // FRANKFURT: HR2) has announced that the drilling program at its Chanape project in the San Mateo area, 90 km east of Lima, Peru has begun. Gary Anderson, president and CEO of High Ridge Resources Inc., commented: “We are very excited that the drilling program is getting underway at Chanape. I am pleased at the way the High Ridge team and our consultants have managed the numerous challenges we have faced over the last nine months in Peru and in Canada. We are looking forward to having the Chanape targets finally tested.”

The drilling program will involve an initial 3,000-5,000 meters from up to 9 platforms and will test both the known mineralized targets (exposed on surface polymetallic veins and intrusive breccias) and larger high chargeability-low resistivity (IP) anomalies. The priority targets cover an area of approximately four square kilometers and have been selected on the basis of detailed geological mapping, surface and underground channel chip sampling, and the results of 3D IP and surface magnetic surveys. It is estimated that the first phase of the drilling program will take 6-8 weeks to complete.

The recent 3D IP identified within the Chanape concessions numerous corresponding high chargeability and related low resistivity anomalies located at various depths. Some of these increase in size at depth, whereas others, lacking the surface expression, extend past the limits of the IP survey and are thought to represent suitable hosts to more mineralization.
