Greenlight Resources Inc. issued an update on the development program at its properties in Canada, where the company is conducting phase one testing of the mineral potential of the area.
Greenlight Resources Inc. has interests in the Brazil Lake Lithium and Rare Metal property located north of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The company has drilled a total of fourteen cored holes in order to assess the mineral component of its property. The total core sample length obtained to date is 1,829 meters with another 400 meters left in phase one.
Greenlight Resources Inc. is looking for lithium deposits of sufficient size that can be commercially produced by the company. The company discovered spodumene in various pegmatite intersections on the property. Spodumene is a source of lithium which is obtained through processing the spodumene with acid.
Greenlight Resources Inc. has also granted stock options to a third party consultant that has performed work for the company. The company granted options covering 80,000 shares that are exercisable within two years at a strike price of $0.25 per share.
