It has been estimated that more than 30% of Americans are affected by over 70 sleep disorders. Sleep disorders have been proven to cause many diseases including Weight Gain, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Heart Attacks, Stroke, Type II Diabetes and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). A leader in the field of sleep medicine, Fusion Sleep has developed a unique delivery model for sleep medicine for patients into select occupational sectors such as trucking and aviation.
Research has shown sleep disorders to be even more prevalent in the transportation industry, signifying that as many as 28% of them suffer from Sleep Apnea alone. Employing 3 million truck drivers, this huge market has an urgent need to diagnose and treat Sleep Disorders in order to save lives, reduce accidents and decrease the related operating and healthcare costs. Fusion Sleep is poised to become the leader in this new arena by applying their existing medical expertise, technology platform and proven methods to efficiently diagnose, treat and monitor drivers and other operators.
