FalconStor Software, a market leader in disk-based data protection solutions, today announced that it has appointed Brendan Kinkade to an expanded role as Vice President of Channel Management and Global Alliances, where he will oversee the evolution of the FalconStor channel program, and the ongoing development of strategic partnerships to increase the company’s market presence and reach.

Prior to the appointment, Kinkade was FalconStor’s VP of Global Alliances. The new expanded role will draw upon his strong understanding of both the storage market and the evolving technological landscape of data protection and virtualization, along with the value of strategic partnerships. Over the past 15 years, Kinkade has been active in the introduction of new market segments and industry changing technologies, and was the founder and Sr. Marketing and Business Development Consultant at Kinkade & Co., prior to joining FalconStor in December of 2008. He also served as VP of Marketing for Nexsan Technologies.
