Crimson Exploration Inc. issued an operational update on its oil and gas development and exploration activities. The company is targeting various conventional and unconventional basins in Texas.
Crimson Exploration Inc. reported the completion of the Catherine Henderson A-8 well in Liberty County, Texas. The well was drilled to an approximate depth of 13,500 feet and targeted the Upper Cook Mountain formation.
Crimson Exploration Inc. reported that the well was producing 13 million cubic feet equivalent per day, with a mix of natural gas, condensate and natural gas liquids. The company does not plan any further drilling here in 2010.
Crimson Exploration Inc. has now made four discoveries to date on its acreage in Liberty County. The company is planning a 3 to 4 well development program in 2011.
Crimson Exploration Inc. finished drilling the Gobi #1 well in San Augustine County, Texas, at the Bruin prospect. The well was drilled to a depth of 18,000 feet, and the company is set to begin completion operations on this well along a 4,400 foot horizontal lateral. The well is expected to start producing in November 2010.
Crimson Exploration Inc. also reported successful drilling activity at wells in Sabine and Bee Counties, Texas.
