On September 30th, A-Power Energy Generation Systems, a leading Chinese provider of distributed power systems and an up and coming manufacturer of wind turbines which are quickly gaining ground as the go-to green power solution in many parts of the world, announced an EPC contract to construct two 12 megawatt and two 75t/h power plants in Liancheng, China. The total contract value is RMB 242 million ($36,172,520 USD).
Mr. Jinxiang Lu, A-Power’s Chairman and CEO, commented, “We are very excited to see an additional win in our core distributed generation (DG) business in China. Our Liaoning Hi-Tech (GaoKe) Energy Group subsidiary continues to build a strong pipeline of business for A-Power, expanding our customer base, geographic footprint as well as gaining further expertise in the DG business.”
Liaoning Hi-tech (GaoKe) Energy Group, a wholly-owned A-Power subsidiary and EPC contractor for the project, will be responsible for the engineering and construction of the power stations. A-Power anticipated revenue generation over the nineteen month implementation period on the percentage of completion method it typically employs for projects in its DG business.
