3Com Corp. (COMS) Secures Multi-Million Agreement with the Government of Israel to Develop LAN Infrastructure

3Com Corp. (Nasdaq: COMS) provides network infrastructure solutions as well as network-based intrusion prevention systems. The company today announced an agreement with the Government of Israel for the government’s new LAN infrastructure project.

Per the agreement, 3Com will provide the government with advanced core and edge networking solutions to assist in plans to develop a modern network to support growing online initiatives. 3Com president and COO Ron Sege said the company’s ability to deliver quality value for an end-to-end solution at a reasonable price distinguishes it from comparable companies.
