MissionIRNewsBreaks – Knightscope, Inc. (NASDAQ: KSCP) Announces Site of Upcoming Robot Roadshow, Deploys ASR to Bay-Area Biotech

Knightscope (NASDAQ: KSCP), a leading developer of autonomous security robots and blue light emergency communication systems, has announced the site of its May 9–11, 2023, Robot Roadshow “landing.” Jena Choctaw Pines Casino, located in Dry Prong, Louisiana, will host the three-day in-person event, designed to be an experiential event to grab attention; forge direct connections with potential clients, investors and the media; and strike up conversations about KSCP’s exciting technologies. The Louisiana stop will be the 80thlanding in 25 states.

During the roadshow, Knightscope experts demonstrate available products and services in a climate-controlled, space-age “pod” that allow those participating to experience up KSCP technologies that are helping make sites safer. The demonstrations allow direct interaction with Autonomous Security Robots (“ASR”) as well as blue light emergency phone; visitors will also be able to see the Knightscope Security Operations Center user interface in action. Clients, investors, and the media are all welcome to attend to learn more.

The company has also deployed its first ASR – a K1 Tower – to a San Francisco Bay Area biotech real estate development. The deployment will enhance the amenity-rich real estate project and underscore the importance of public safety in a highly regulated environment. The company noted that, just as with other types of businesses, biotech companies “need to be protected from break-ins, vandalism, and other intrusions. Unlike other companies, however, some criminals choose to break into biotech companies due to the incentive to steal (and sell) research samples causing irreparable damage in the form of lost intellectual property. Break-ins may also lead to the damage of expensive physical property like rented or owned lab equipment and valuable electronics. Random vandalism can turn into targeted vandalism, especially if companies have dealt with criticism or protests about specific research activities. Knightscope will ultimately patrol a parking garage and monitor the common areas of this new client to help protect the physical and intellectual property under development at this high-tech facility along with the workers who are helping our communities lead healthier lives.”
