Answerthink, Inc. (ANSR) announced that Shareholders have approved the company’s proposed name change. As a result, Answerthink is to change their name to “The Hackett Group, Inc”.

The name change will officially take effect on January 1, 2008. However, the company’s common stock will begin trading under the symbol “HCKT” January 31, 2008. Company executives are scheduled to participate in the Opening Bell Ceremony at the NASDAQ Stock Market on that date.

Ted Fernadez, CEO, stated, “We believe that by placing more of our businesses under The Hackett Group umbrella we can take full advantage of the global market permission associated with the brand.”
