Willow Creek Enterprises Inc. (WLOC) Initiates Drilling at the 583k Gold Equivalent Ounce Hercules Gold & Silver Property in Nevada

Willow Creek Enterprises, the domestically focused mineral developers, with primary holdings in the state of Nevada, reported the start of drilling today at the Hercules Gold & Silver Property in Lyon County, Nevada.

President of WLOC, Terry Fields, pointed out the flagship nature of Hercules for the Company and the location of the site in Nevada’s prolific Walker Lane Mineral Belt. Eager to begin drilling, so as to outline the approximately 583,000 gold-equivalent ounces of resources at Hercules, Fields described the tireless effort of the Company’s ground crew in prepping the roads for mobilization of the drilling rig.

Fields conveyed the projected 300 feet per day of drilling intended by WLOC’s geological analysis and exploration team, explaining further that results of the drilling would be made available as soon as they are made available to the Company. With a rigorous plan of attack, consisting of both core and RC (reverse circulation-rotary) angle drill holes, the proposed drilling program will validate and enhance the indicated resources.

The plan is to drill some 14 holes at a 50-100 foot spacing, focused predominantly on the Hercules and West Cliff area, as well as North of the ABC zones, although Fields made it clear that flexibility was to be maintained, such that as new targets emerge, focus can be shifted accordingly. The drilling should be to a current maximum depth of up to 500 feet and the program in total should result in roughly 3k feet total of drilling at Hercules.

The Hercules is a truly choice piece of land in the Walker Lane Mineral Belt, which has produced some of the biggest, world-class epithermal precious metal deposits like the legendary Comstock Lode (some 8.6M oz Au and 192M oz Ag) and Round Mountain (Barrick/Kinross, 10M oz Au since 1906). Indeed, similarly prolific copper porphyry deposits, like the Yerington, which was worked by Anaconda Copper from 1953-1978, producing some 1.75B pounds of copper, also exist readily in the Walker Lane Belt.

Consisting of some 88 mining claims on 1760 acres, the Hercules Gold & Silver Property deserves to be WLOC’s crown jewel acreage and as the property sits just 10 miles away from the Comstock Lode, 25 miles outside Reno, both the geology and logistical position make a great deal of sense for the Company.
