Yesterday, Integrated Device Technology announced that it has been included in the Bay Area News Group’s eponymous “Top Workplaces” list. IDT was also included on the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal’s “Top 100 Public Companies in Silicon Valley.” These accolades reflect IDT’s dedication to innovation, collaboration, and execution while encouraging employees to try new things while expanding their education and achieving goals.
Comprised of the San Jose Mercury News, the Contra Costa Times, and the Oakland Tribune, The Bay Area News Group compiles its Top Workplaces list by surveying employees of local businesses focusing on work/life flexibility, compensation and benefits, corporate leadership, and training. After analyzing the extensive data, The Bay Area News Group published a list of the 75 top-ranking companies in the June 17 issues of its associate publications. The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal assembled its list of the Top 100 Public Companies in Silicon Valley by ranking local companies by their most recently completed fiscal year revenue; this list was included in the May 11th issue.
“We are delighted to be part of The Bay Area News Group’s Top Workplaces list – particularly because it comes as a direct result of positive feedback from our employees,” said Kelley Steven-Waiss, vice president of worldwide human resources at IDT. “We aim to provide an environment that encourages employee growth and personal success, so this distinction is a true honor.”
Ted Tewksbury, president and CEO at IDT, added, “IDT’s commitment to maximizing shareholder value begins with delivering extraordinary value to our customers. The sources of that value are our people and a culture that unlocks their creativity and rewards results. We are pleased to see that this philosophy has resulted in our recognition as one of the best workplaces and top public companies leading technology innovation in the Valley.”
