Tetra Tech, Inc. (TTEK), headquartered in Pasadena, California, provides consulting, engineering and technical services. With approximately 8,500 associates located in the U.S. and elsewhere, the company supports commercial and government clients in the areas of resource management and infrastructure. Services include research and development, applied science and technology, engineering design, program management, construction management, construction, and operations and maintenance.

The company announced that ARD, Inc., which was recently acquired by Tetra, was one of six contractors awarded a $750M indefinite quantity contract to support the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) anticorruption and governance efforts worldwide. The contract has a period of five years. Under the new USAID program, Encouraging Global Anticorruption and Good Governance Efforts (ENGAGE), Tetra and its team members will help improve transparency and accountability by developing and strengthening systems, institutions, and practices that support governance.

Last week the company also announced the award of a $55M, single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to ARD, Inc. Over the next two years, Tetra will work with U.S. and Afghan partners to improve the economic and social infrastructure in western Afghanistan, helping to speed national reconstruction efforts. The company will help communities identify and seize meaningful opportunities to improve incomes and create lasting jobs in high-value agricultural pursuits. Infrastructure projects will include irrigation planning and improvements, road rehabilitation, and renovation or construction of public buildings such as schools, clinics, community centers, and markets.
