Radyne Corporation (RADN) announced that the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, AeroAstro, will supply Globalstar with various network upgrades. These network upgrades will enhance customer messaging capacity, amongst a plethora of other advantages.
According to this agreement, AeroAstro will provide ground network by upgrading the number of receivers that the company currently utilizes. These upgrades will expand the current subscriber messaging capacity up to 10 times and increase receiver sensitivity of the network by up to 40 percent.
Myron Wagner, Radyne’s CEO, commented, “AeroAstro’s technology lead in low cost reliable remote monitoring continues to drive new sales in this high growth market. This is just one of many markets where Radyne and AeroAstro can exploit new sales opportunities.”
