Radiant Systems, Inc. (RADS) Selected as Point of Sale Provider

Today, Radiant Systems, Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement with Gas City, Ltd., to install Radiant Point of Sale (POS) and related technology to approximately 50 locations in Northeast Illinois, Northwest Indiana, Florida and Arizona.

“Our goal is to deliver a customer experience that is unique to Gas City,” stated William A. McEnery, executive vice president at Gas City. “Radiant’s leadership in the industry and commitment to innovation and data security fit well with that goal and played a big part in our selection of Radiant as our POS platform moving forward.”

The Radiant solution includes Radiant POS software, P1560 hardware terminals with Order Confirmation Displays, S4600 site servers, Radiant Electronic Payment Controllers and Tiger Fuel Controllers. Using the industry-standard PCATS NAXML POS-to-back office interface, the Radiant solution will integrate to Gas City’s ADD Systems back office solution. Gas City will also deploy Radiant Loyalty Manager, allowing the retailer to interface its POS with its existing customer loyalty program from KickBack Points.

“Radiant continues to be the choice for regional leaders like Gas City,” commented Jimmy Frangis, vice president for the petroleum and convenience retail division at Radiant Systems. “With a truly scalable product we are able to meet the current and future needs of all retailers by delivering an enhanced customer experience with rock-solid data security.”
