InfuSystem Holdings, Inc (HAPN), a leading provider of infusion pump services to aid patients suffering from chemotherapy, has announced the election of David M. Haar to the newly created corporate position – Vice President of Marketing.
Before being elected as InfuSystem’s VP of marketing, Mr. Haar served as the Vice President of Marketing for the National Medical Health Card Company. During this period, Mr. Haar led all marketing and communications initiatives for the company while also serving as the national pharmacy benefits manager. Prior to this position, Haar was employed with MapInfo, a leading provider of location intelligence solutions. Here, he directly contributed to the company’s growth from a $40 million fiscal company to a $140 million fiscal company, an astonishing accomplishment.
Steve Watkins, CEO of InfuSystem, stated, “We are impressed with David’s track record as well as his vision for our marketing efforts. His expertise with positioning, branding and lead generation coupled with his business-to-business and consumer marketing experience are perfectly suited to InfuSystem’s needs. We look forward to his valuable contributions to our growth.”
Mr. Haar commented, “For many cancer patients, continuous infusion therapies decrease the debilitating side effects of chemotherapy, allowing them to maintain a more normal life during their treatment. And, due to the lower toxicity, many patients are able to complete their treatments without disruption, leading to improved therapeutic outcomes and increased overall survival. It’s a powerful story and I look forward to getting this message out into the marketplace.”
