Harvard Bioscience, Inc. (HBIO) Names Yoav Sibony as New Vice President of Global Sales

Global developer, manufacturer, and marketer of a broad range of tools to advance life science research and regenerative medicine, Harvard Bioscience announced that it has recruited Yoav Sibony, a veteran sales manager, to the position of Vice President of Global Sales, a newly created position, effective as of October 21st.

Chief Executive Officer of Harvard Bioscience, Jeffrey A. Duchemin stated, “Expanding the Company’s sales initiatives worldwide is crucial to our continuing growth. In order to take maximum advantage of the opportunities in our market, it is vital that we implement a far-reaching global sales strategy. To meet this challenge, we have created the new position of Vice President of Global Sales. Having worked with Yoav in the past, and knowing firsthand of his long and impressive track record of sales management experience, I am confident that he will help Harvard Bioscience attain the next level of growth. I look forward to collaborating with him as the Company expands its global footprint.”

Prior to joining Harvard Bioscience, Sibony held the role of Global Sales Effectiveness Manager at Corning Life Sciences, a division of Corning Inc. While in this position he oversaw strategy development and global business operations for this approximately $800 million division. Previously, from 2002 to 2012, he acted in key positions at the medical technology company Becton, Dickinson & Company. He has also held the role of Regional Business Manager at BD Biosciences Discovery Labware, where he oversaw 12 sales territories with a combined value of $45 million. Sibony holds an M.B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University and earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Baruch College-City University of New York.
