GSI Commerce Inc. (GSIC) Collaborates With Clients for Success

GSI Commerce Inc. believes working closely with partners to formulate e-commerce solutions is the key to growth for both entities. GSI Commerce, formerly known as Global Sports Inc. has headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. They have a market capitalization of $649.6M and list on NASDAQ. Some of the businesses they collaborate with are Major League Baseball, the Houston Texans of the NFL, iRobot, Bath and Body Works, Ralph Lauren, and CBS Sports to name just a few.

The company’s focus is on providing e-commerce capabilities to their customers through their integrated e-commerce platform. In 2006, GSI purchased Aspherio, S.L., a Barcelona, Spain-based company that provides outsourced e-commerce solutions.

Michael G. Rubin is the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of GSI Commerce. He has held the post of Chairman and CEO since 1995. Since 2006, he has held the President’s position. He is a winner of various awards for his business skills, and oversees the sales, strategic planning, and corporate development group of GSI. He also directs the corporate support and governance group of the company.

With their recent acquisition of Accretive Commerce Inc., a provider of e-commerce, fulfillment, and customer care solutions, GSI continues to grow. Their goal is to make every one of their partners’ e-commerce operations run smoothly and efficiently. GSI knows their future success depends on their clients’ e-commerce success.
