Empire Resorts (NASDAQ: NYNY), an experienced gaming and resort management company based in Monticello, New York, operates the Monticello Gaming & Raceway and is involved in the development of other gaming and non-gaming resort projects in the Catskills.

Empire Resorts is the parent company of Monticello Gaming & Raceway, a gaming and entertainment complex that features more than 1,500 video gaming machines and one of the nation’s largest, all-weather harness horse tracks. The facility features many of the same amenities and games found in the casinos of Atlantic City and Las Vegas.

Empire Resorts is currently planning a $700-million attraction with unique thrill rides, innovative architecture, spectacular special effects and high-end retail ideally located in the beautiful backdrop of the Catskills. The 1.5 million-square foot development will include a gaming area, convention center, hotel, golf course, retail stores, restaurants and a new state-of-the-art. 5/8-mile harness track.

In addition, Empire Resorts and Concord Associates are planning to build a superlative gaming and entertainment complex just 2.5 miles from the existing Monticello Gaming & Raceway location. The company is waiting for regulatory approvals and other closing conditions before commencing full-scale development operations.
