Leading Chinese software and services provider eFuture Information Technology announced it has signed an agreement with Rainbow Department Store Company Limited to launch myStore, a one-on-one engagement platform that enables easy access between sales clerks and their customers. Additionally, the platform provides a social shopping network that connects consumers and their friends with the general consumer community.

Featuring the brands “Rainbow” and Dreams-on,” Rainbow Department Store was established in 1984 and was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010. Rainbow Department Store has been honored as one of “Top 100 Chain Retailers of China” for 12 years in a row. As of April 2013, Rainbow owns 55 stores in major provinces throughout China and also manages two franchised department stores. Dreams-on owns two stores.

A contract was signed in July in which eFuture agreed to provide integrated services – including mobile marketing, mobile shopping, and membership management – to three stores owned by Rainbow, enabling the stores to monitor and gather consumer behavior information like purchasing and marketing campaign reaction through eFuture’s data analytics and capabilities.
