The company announced today the appointment of Bill Brown as U.S.-based senior sales manager. Mr. Brown joins EDAP’s U.S. team with a number of tasks to perform. Mr. Brown comes to EDAP with 20 years of experience in the medical field and more than 10 years of success in selling lithotripsy devices in the U.S. market. He is closely connected to the U.S. urology community, and brings to EDAP his expertise and knowledge of the market as well as his relationships with its key opinion leaders.

EDAP believes Mr. Brown is the right fit for the company with his wealth of experience in generating sales in the mature lithotripsy market. It also makes sense for the French company, which wants to expand here in the United States, to hire such a person with a lot of expertise, especially in the light of its upcoming move into the prostate cancer market.
