Crimson Exploration Inc. issued an operational update on its oil and gas activities in the United States, where the company is working to explore and develop the Bossier formation.
Crimson Exploration Inc. reported the completion of the Gobi #1 H well at the Bruin Prospect area. The well was drilled to a total measured depth of approximately 18,000 feet, and initial production was reported at 11.7 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Gobi #1 H well is located in San Augustine, County, Texas, and Crimson Exploration Inc. has a 70% working interest.
Crimson Exploration Inc. reported that the company has begun completion operations on the Halbert Trust #1 well at the Fairway Farms Prospect. The company said that the well is being drilled with a 4,200 foot lateral and a 14 stage hydraulic fracturing operation. The Halbert Trust #1 well is also located in San Augustine, County, Texas, and the company has a 29% working interest in the well.
Crimson Exploration Inc. reached the intended depth on the Bengal #1 well being drilled in Sabine County, Texas. The total measured depth of this well is 18,100 feet, including a 4,400 foot horizontal lateral. The Bengal # 1 well is located in Sabine County, Texas, and the company has a 71% working interest here.
