Compass Diversified Holdings declared a $0.34 per share dividend for the fourth quarter of 2009. The dividend is payable on January 28, 2010 to shareholders of record on January 22, 2010.

Compass Diversified has paid out $1.36 per share over the last four quarters, giving the stock a yield of more than 10%. The company went public in May 2006, and has paid a dividend every quarter, even through the recession and financial crisis. The company’s total dividend payout is $4.6352 per share.

Compass Diversified Holdings purchases and manages small to midsized businesses in various industries, including technology, furniture, medical devices and leisure goods. The company currently owns majority stakes in six businesses:

AFM Holdings Corporation –Furniture manufacturing located in Mississippi.

Anodyne Medical Device, Inc. – Medical support and patient positioning products to assist patients with limited mobility.

CBS Personnel Holdings, Inc. – Staffing company with 300 locations on 29 states.

Compass AC Holdings, Inc. – Manufactures rigid printed circuit boards.

Fox Factory Holding Corp. – Products for mountain bikes, all-terrain vehicles and other off road vehicles.

Halo Lee Wayne LLC – Customized and promotional products.
