Yesterday, Cimatron Ltd. announced two distributors that have been appointed to serve the Campinas and Santa Catherina areas of Brazil. The company’s further expansion into Brazil is expected to be announced shortly, when the company reveals additional distributors.

Cimatron is a provider of CAD/CAM solutions for mold, tool and die producers, as well as parts manufacturers. Operating in over 40 countries, Cimatron’s product line, including the CimatronE and GibbsCam brand of software, is utilized for many diverse purposes; from tool design to electrode design to tombstone machining. Cimatron’s software is used by clients in such industries as automotive, aerospace, medical and electronics, with the benefit of being able to accommodate the entire manufacturing process, from design to delivery of product.

The companies announced that the distributors will cater to a wide array of local Brazilian businesses, including the automotive and electronics industries previously mentioned, as well as civil engineering and other assorted manufacturing industries.
