China-Biotics, Inc. (CHBT) Breaks New Ground by Winning First US Customer

Located in SHANGHAI, China, China-Biotics has quickly evolved into a leading manufacturer of biotechnology products and supplements that engages in the research, development, marketing and distribution of probiotics dietary supplements in China. Today, China-Biotics took a major step towards becoming a global power when the company entered into an agreement with a US based nutritional product company.

The contract is a milestone for the young company because it is the first time China-Biotic has reached an agreement with a company outside of China. The company recently left an impression on American companies when an R&D representative from China-Biotic attended the Natural Product Expo in Anaheim, California. The Expo attracted approximately 3,400 exhibitors and a wide array of health food industry participants.

Leading the way at China-Biotics is Mr. Jinan Song who serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO. Commenting on the expansion of the company, Mr. Song was quoted as saying, “We are very excited about winning our first overseas customer, in a market which not only carries the world’s leading standard in food safety but also consumes large volume and varieties of health food. This is a solid testimony that our product quality and technology capability have been received by the international market. With this new win, we are now officially a new contender for the US market, which is historically dominated by European probiotics producers. We are confident that this is just the start of our future expansion in the international market.”

Currently, China-Biotics is trading in the $8.71 range. With this breaking news and a strong array of technology within their pipeline, expect China-Biotics to start to capture the attention of institutional investors in the near future.
