Callidus Software Inc. (CALD) Introduces New Mobile Sales Coach

Callidus Software Inc. recently announced the launch of MySalesCoach, a new sales coaching app for mobile devices. The app is based on Callidus ForceLogix SalesForce Optimizer, and will be available on iPad and Android systems beginning in the second quarter of 2011.

Callidus Software is a supplier of Sales Performance Management software, helping businesses coach sales employees, track sales team performance and provide visibility into operations and financial performance. Callidus software is used in such industries as high tech, communications, banking, insurance and pharmaceuticals.

The new MySalesCoach application allows a business sales force to collaborate on sales, as well as synchronize observations to on demand ForceLogix SalesForce Optimizer technology. It also allows users to track sales sessions based on location, territory and customer.

“Sales forces are adopting and consuming mobile computing faster than any other job function. Sales users are seeking applications that deliver business insight anytime, anywhere, in the context of their daily work,” said Lorna Heynike, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Callidus Software. “Callidus’ extension of its sales mobility platform to our newly acquired coaching solution will enable sales people to apply real time coaching to their daily sales situations wherever they are. Our new MySalesCoach app — based on the Callidus Mobile Platform — delivers a fast, easy user experience that helps enforce a culture of pervasive coaching throughout the sales organization — a proven characteristic of high-performance sales forces.”

“Coaching is most impactful when it is done within the context of day-to-day business activities,” said Rory Cameron, Vice President, Alliances and Corporate Development, Callidus Software. “With MySalesCoach, sales managers can identify and coach on winning strategies on-the-spot, on-the-go. This increases the effectiveness of coaching programs so the sales team can effectively execute campaigns and win more business.”
