Bookham, Inc. (BKHM), a leading provider of optical components, modules, and subsystems, has announced the appointment of Kate Rundle to the position of executive vice president and general counsel. Ms. Rundle has over 25 years of legal experience with expertise in the areas of intellectual property, marketing, technology licensing and corporate law.
Ms. Rundle was previously employed by MIPS Technologies, Inc. where she was responsible for all aspects of the legal department functions, practices and policies. Prior to her role at MIPS, Ms. Rundle was employed at Sun Microsystems, Inc where she was responsible for the company’s worldwide marketing efforts. Ms. Rundle also served as an intellectual property officer at the 3DO Company and was an attorney at the law office of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati.
