Big Bear Mining Corp. announced the results of its mining exploration program at its properties in Canada. The company is conducting a preliminary assessment of the mineral potential of its claims.
Big Bear Mining Corp. is working at the Red Lake project located in Western Ontario. The company is examining historical showings and conducting geological mapping at the site.
Big Bear Mining Corp. owns claims at three blocks in the Birch-Uchi region of the Red Lake project. The company said that the results of the preliminary assessment indicate that the Shabu and the Sol D’Or Mine claims require further exploration.
“In our early stages of exploration we are looking for results and trends that warrant additional exploration. We are encouraged by the results from these claims and will provide additional information as it becomes available,” said Steve Rix, the CEO of Big Bear Mining Corp.
Big Bear Mining Corp. said that the company tested three separate areas at the Sol D’Or Mine claim, and that the areas had showings of gold in a range from 12.6 to 17.2 grams per ton.
