New Frontier Media, Inc. (NOOF) Reports Mixed Financial Results

New Frontier Media, Inc. reported sales of $14.2 million in the third fiscal quarter, up from $11.5 million in the same quarter of 2009. The company also increased sales in the nine month period, reporting $37.8 million compared to $35.3 million in 2009.

New Frontier Media, Inc. saw an increase in sales in its Video on Demand and Film Production segments in the quarter and a decline in sales in its Pay Per View business. The Direct to Consumer business reported flat sales relative to last year.

New Frontier Media, Inc. reported income from continuing operations of $0.2 million, or $0.01 per share, in the most recent quarter. The company reported income from continuing operations of $1.6 million, or $0.08 per share, in the corresponding period in 2009.

New Frontier Media, Inc. also reported a decline in income from continuing operations in the nine month period ending 12/31/2010. The company reported $0.6 million, or $0.03 per share, down from $3.7 million, or $0.19 per share, in the same period in 2009.
