Pressure BioSciences has been committed to accomplishing its corporate goals for this year and has experienced success in many areas. The Company brought seven full-time sales directors on board to achieve better regional coverage, which exceeds the initial goal of five. The new sales team has previous experience selling either sample preparation or life sciences capital equipment and many have worked in laboratories. The Company is currently training the new hires and anticipates the team to be fully operational early next year.

The company has also succeeded in increasing sales as a total of 10 Barocycler NEP3229 were commissioned. Four of the ten were commissioned within the third quarter, two of which were sold while the other two were leased or rented. The company’s lightweight model also sold well as four of them have been installed within the third quarter of this year. An additional 40 units have been ordered from Pressure BioSciences’ manufacturer.

Pressure BioSciences also launched its first PCT-dependent research-use only kit which is designed to extract proteins from lipid-rich samples. In conjunction with solvents and Pressure Cycling Technology, this extremely useful tool can benefit thousands of scientists worldwide working in the areas of obesity and other related diseases. The kit is unique as it can extract proteins from lipid-rich samples without using potentially harmful detergents.

In an effort to expand its foreign distribution and commercialize PCT globally next year, the Company applied for CE Marks on both of its innovative instruments. As of the second week of September, Pressure BioSciences was awarded approval for both devices. The Company is actively identifying scientists outside of the US and anticipates that these scientists are beginning to generate data to prepare for commercialization in Q1 2008.
