Specialty pharmaceutical company Vansen Pharma announced it has acquired Ottawa- based Canada Health Empire and its related company 6708595 Canada, Inc. (CHE, collectively), which sell and market a portfolio of natural health products under brands like O2, Zincola, Omega-3 Super Krill Oil, Bone Guard, and Ironex, among others.

In conjunction with the acquisition of CHE, Vansen is acquiring the needed product registrations, trademarks, starting material inventory, manufacturing expertise, import/export permits, and customer information to continue selling and marketing the products in various export markets. The acquisition’s financial terms were not disclosed.

Strong loyalty has developed for CHE’s products among sales and distribution partners, and with the completion of the transaction, Vansen is acquiring a new revenue stream and a platform for developing niche high-margin natural health brands in export markets, which are anticipated to show triple-digit growth over the next few years.
