OCZ Technology Group, Inc. (OCZ) Announced as Finalist for Best of Interop 2013

OCZ Technology Group announced earlier this week that it has been selected as a Best of Interop finalist for the Data Center and Storage award category, alongside powerhouse companies Dell and HP.

Founded in 2002 and based out of San Jose, CA, OCZ Technology Group is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of high-performance solid-state storage solutions and premium computer components.

“We are very pleased that our single-card ZD-XL SQL Accelerator is a Best of Interop finalist alongside full system box solutions from Dell and HP,” said Alex Mei, CMO for OCZ Technology Group.

As a part of UBM Tech’s family of global brands, Interop is the leading business technology event series. Through in-depth educational programs, workshops, real-world demonstrations, and live technology implementations, Interop provides the forum for the most powerful innovations and solutions the industry has to offer.

Held each spring in Nevada, the Best of Interop awards offers recognition of achievements in categories that include cloud computing and virtualization, data center and storage, and performance optimization and testing.

“At Interop, attendees can see these products on the show floor and have the opportunity to interact first hand with the latest advancements. The selected finalists for 2013 have put forth the most compelling offerings and we congratulate each of the Best of Interop finalists,” said Andrew Conry-Murray, editor of Network Computing.

The Best of Interop winners will be announced on May 7 at the Interop Theater on the Expo Floor during Interop Las Vegas, running from May 6 to May 10 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
